Kay and Mike invite you to stay at their lovingly decorated home with fabulous views of the surrounding hills and woodland. This former ancient mill house is situated in the heart of Cathar country, close to the historic French towns of Mirepoix and Foix and the busy markets at Lavelanet and Pamiers.

Within twenty minutes drive you will find many highly recommended beauty spots, including the waterfalls of Roquefort les Cascades, the ancient town of Mirepoix and the breathtaking Cathar monuments of Montségur and Roquefixade. The airports of Carcassonne and Toulouse are both within an hours drive of the chambres et table d'hôte. The quiet roads and outstanding scenery surrounding La Maison De Roquefort make it perfect for walking and cycling, while a vast variety of other pursuits can be enjoyed in the local area, including canoeing, horse riding, sailing, abseiling, golf and 4x4 tours.

Our shaded terrace and gardens provide the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the picturesque countryside. Take time to enjoy the sounds of birds and the nearby brook, to paint, write or just to contemplate.
